As the
#2 seeds
in the men's open doubles draw, OSU players Joseph Atas and Scott
Green upset the top seeds and former champions Wynn Criswell &
Rick Witsken 6-7 (7) 6-4 6-2 in the final of the Brenard Master
Doubles Classic. For their efforts, Atas & Green were named
the Adult Players of the Week.
They also defeated
Joesph & Brian Pierce 6-1 6-0 in the first round, Andrew Seni
& Jason Smith 6-3 6-3 in the quarters and Brian Heil & Matt
Jackson 6-4 6-2 in the semis.
