The 2008 Gahanna Open

The Gahanna Open will be held at Gahanna Lincoln High School. The tournament is a COGP tour event sanctioned by the USTA.

The on-site contact number for this event is 397-0510. During the tournament week, this is the number to contact (do not call the COGP number as you will be referred back to the tournament).

Announcement . . . The Boys' 18 Doubles division is a round robin format. Rounds 1 and 2 will be played on Friday with match times TBA. Round 3 is scheduled for Saturday at 12 noon.

Rain Policy . . . there is a threat of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast this week. However, if it is raining in one part of Metro Columbus, it may not be raining at the tournament site. Players are required to report to the tournament for their regularly scheduled match time unless directed otherwise by tournament director Walt Thieman. Players should call 397-0510 before leaving for the tournament to check the weather conditions on site. If it does rain, every attempt will be made to dry the courts and continue play as soon as possible.
