Shawn Worth captured two titles at the South Central Open and earned the Adult Player of the Week Award.

As the 1st seed in the men's singles draw, Worth defeated Colin Burling 6-0 6-0in the first round, Aleksandr Itunin 6-0 6-0 in the quarters, #3 seed Robbie Barlow 6-1 6-3 in the semis and #4 Ted Becker 5-7 6-2 6-0 in the final.

In mixed doubles, Worth and partner Danya Elzein were unseeded and they beat the #1 seeds Jonalee Roahrig and Randy Stewart 6-1 4-6 6-2 in the semis and #2 Chelsea and Ryan Rauck 6-1 6-1 in the final.

Jane Gibson also earned two titles at the South Central Open and was named the Junior Player of the Week.

In girls' 14 singles, Gibson was the #2 seed and beat in succession Molly Buckler 6-4 3-6 6-2 and Cara Truesdell 6-4 6-3 for title #1.

In girls' 12 singles, Gibson was seeded #1 and she defeated Kristin Cellentani 6-0 6-0 in the quarters, Audrey Berger 6-1 6-1 in the semis and #2 Lauren Gerber 6-1 6-3 for title #2.
