ADULT PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ADAM EWING

The trend for 2004 is for unseeded players to beat both of the seeded players in the draw on their way to winning the title.

Adam Ewing joined that club at the Unlimited Open. He defeated Kevin Johnson 6-3 6-3 in the first round, Ronnie Harris 0-6 6-4 7-6 (6) in the quarters, #2 seed Wyatt Wood 6-3 7-6 (1) in the semis and #1 J.R. Pepino 6-1 6-1 in the final.

For his efforts, Ewing jumped from #52 to #7 in the Tennisfax/COGP men's singles rankings and was named the Adult Player of the Week for the Unlimited Open.
